Gert van Harten (b. 1947) was already technically oriented at a young age. As a teenager he could easily assemble and dismantle a lorry engine. At the age of 17, after his training as a crane operator, he started to work in the transport sector. He developed and became a manager at reputable companies. On 4 June 1986 he started his own business,Mobiel Transport BVand in 1989 he changed the name toG. van Harten BV. The company grew rapidly, expanded, and in 2008 it moved to a site on Turbinestraat in Veenendaal.
Nowadays, G. van Harten takes care of worldwide industrial moving and relocation of machines and other light and heavy objects for the steel, asphalt, concrete, foods, chemicals and medical industries. In addition, the company is active in the energy sector: positioning power stations and plants, gas turbines, windmills, generators and transformers.
Our company is well known for its mechanical and electro-technical expertise. We offer a total solution including engineering, assembly/disassembly, transport and installation.
